I must admit, I thought the same.

What was the next step? Dancing in the rain while chanting a mantra?

Allah created everything, and your destiny is already written.

Your rizq is already determined.

Tough question to be honest.

But there is something I wish I knew 6 years ago…

He's disheveled. He's covered in dust from the road.

He's exhausted.

He raises his hands to the sky and calls out with everything in him:

"O Lord! O Lord!"

If you saw this man, you'd think "MashAllah, that's the kind of believer I want to be." Everything about this scene screams sincere, devoted, doing-all-the-right-things Muslim.

And then the Prophet ﷺ says something that should terrify every single one of us:

"…his food is haram, his drink is haram, his clothing is haram, and he is nourished by haram, so how can he be answered?" (Sahih Muslim)

Read that last part again, I'll wait here.

Done? Good.

Because here's the question I asked myself… and I ask you now…

Can you say with 100% certainty that EVERY dollar in your bank account is halal?

Not 95%.

Not "mostly."

Not "I think so."

ONE. HUNDRED. PERCENT.

If you hesitated—even for a second—you've got this block.
